Mexico Takes Note

At flatev we are a truly international effort with our feet planted in three different countries. Not only have we taken Switzerland by storm as one of their top new startups, we have new offices in the USA, and now Mexico is recognizing our potential.

Mexico is close to our heart as the home of CEO and co-founder Carlos Ruiz as well as the best place in the world to get handmade tortillas. Perhaps no other country understands why our machine was invented better. The process of making tortillas by hand is a complicated one that is still practiced all over Mexico.

This month we’re featured in Negocios magazine from Pro Mexico. It was Carlos’s travels away from his home that helped him develop the idea for the flatev machine and Negocios has an interview with him as well as outlining our plans for the future to expand beyond tortillas into flatbreads in the global market.
